Osun State chairman of the Action Alliance (AA), Mr Adetunji Olubunmi has called on the police to investigate Mr Ogunmodede Adeloye for allegedly impersonating as the state chairman of the party.

In a petition submitted to the state commissioner of Police, Mr Adetunji alleged that Ogunmodede impersonated him as he claimed to be the state chairman of the AA.

The petition reads “on the 22nd of March, Mr Ogunmodede Adeloye made a press release claiming to be chairman of Action Alliance when he is not

“He was referring to me as a disgruntled element in the inciteful press release and this can lead to chaos in the society

“Mr. Ogunmodede Adeloye and those he referred to as the National Executive Committee( NEC) and National Think Tank committee of Action Alliance are not known to the party

“That my client has been the one who has been talking to the party members in the state not to cause a crisis over the press release made by Mr Ogunmodede Adeloye

“That the political atmosphere in the country is so tense than for someone to be making a reckless press release that will cause unrest that we call on the police commissioner to make discreet investigation into this matter that will lead to the appropriate prosecution of Mr Ogunmodede Adeloye,” he added.
