A sociocultural youth organisation, Dumagi Youth Development Association in Edu Local Government Area of Kwara State has showered praises on Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for even distribution of development projects in the state.
The association also observed that the Governor revolutionized mode of appointing people into public offices with his interest in ensuring that every part of the state is represented.
The President, Dumagi Youth Development Association, Jibril Husseini, said this in a statement issued in Ilorin yesterday, a copy of which was made available to The Herald On Sunday.
He said the governance style of AbdulRazaq is exemplary and worth of emulation, urging leaders to take a cue from him.
Husseini thanked the Governor for providing conducive environment for governance to thrive, particularly the appointment of able and capable to man different political offices in the state.
The association’s president applauded AbdulRazaq for the appointment of Professor Mamman Saba Jibril as Secretary to the State Government, saying that the people of Dumagi were appreciative of the Governor’s pick.
He added that the association has been contributing to the development of the community with the belief that government cannot do it alone.
Husseini said the association recently provided facilities to selected schools and medical centre as part of efforts to address the critical needs of the beneficiaries.
He noted that the association realized that government cannot solely make available the facilities and attend to the needs of communities, hence its resolve to offer the support.
Husseini expressed gratitude to those, he said, generously contributed to the cause.
The Dumagi Youth Development Association president thanked Secretary to the state government, Professor Mamman Saba Jibril, Alhaji Mohammed Gana Etsunu, Alamaskaka, Hon. Saba Gideon, Hajiya Shonga, Hon. Ahmed Adamu Saba; All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairman in Edu local government area, Alhaji Mohammed Kudu and his members of executive who, he pointed out, tirelessly served as his backbone.
He applauded them for their support, dedication, and contributions that made the project a success, adding that the association would not relent but do more in the nearest future.
