Babatunde Layiwola Isiaka was born in Ibadan, Oyo state.

He has Diploma in Mass Communication, from College of Arabic and Islamic  Legal Studies (CAILS). He later proceeded to Universiity of Ilorin where he bagged BSc in Sociology and MSc in Sociology (with specialisation in Criminology and Penology in 2010 and 2015 respectively.

He is the founder of Society for Positive Change Initiative (SPCI). SPCI is a community-based organization of volunteers whose mission is the introduction and injection of ideas through research to address fundamental problems of society as well as engage in community development in every stratum of society

During the course of performing his duty as a mainstream journalist, he has been privileged to conduct interviews with many eminent personalities in the country including the three former Presidents of Nigeria; President Olusegun Obasanjo, late President Musa Yaradu, and President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan.

He is an active member of many organisations and professional bodies among which are:  Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Association of Nigeria Authors (ANA), Ilorin branch. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of Youth Awake Initiative  for the Development of Africa (YAIDA).

He is currently the Treasurer of the NUJ Kwara State Council (from 2018 till date).
