Foundation sustains Justice Akanbi annual Ramadan Da’awah visitation

The ancient town of Ago-Oja in Asa Local Government Area of Kwara State went agog on Saturday (May 18, 2019) when members of Massalam Islamic foundation, a charitable organization founded by late Hon. Justice Mustapha Akanbi, visited the town for their annual Ramadan Da’awah.

This year Ramadan Da’awah visitation to towns and  villages is the first to be perfomed after the glorious exit of the late Hon. Justice M.M. A. Akanbi.

The Ago-Oja Central Mosque,  where the lecture took place was filled to the brim as members of the community both males and females including adults and admirers of Ago-Oja converged in large number to give the visiting team a rousing welcome.

The event featured special prayer for the repose of the founder of the Massalam Islamic Foundation, Hon. Justice Akanbi, who, during his lifetime had visited Ago-Oja several times for Ramadan Da’awah.

The Baale of Ago-Oja, Mallam Daud Salahudeen thanked the foundation for showing interest in Ago-Oja and described the foundation’s annual visitation to Ago-Oja community as very helpful and supportive with full of spiritual rewarding.

Two speakers, Ustadh Muktar Ibraheem and Ustadh Sulyman Muhammed Jamiu, gave the lecture at the well attended event, as the duo, in their separate lectures, advised Muslim faithfuls to let the lessions of Ramadan reflect in their daily conducts and imbibe culture of cahrity as enshrined in the scriptures especially, in the spirit of the ongoing Ramadan.

They also used the forum to pray for late Hon. Justice Mustapha Akanbi and called on people to take a cue from his exemplary life.

Late Justice Akanbi was the founder of Mustapha Akanbi Foundation, Massalam Islamic Foundation, Nana Aisha Academy, Mustapha Akanbi Library and Resource Center, among other initiatives.

He was reputed to have lived up to the dream of his life. He was famous for service to God and humanity during his life time.
