The Kwara State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board is set to host its inaugural enlightenment lecture for intending pilgrims, designed to provide essential information for a successful and spiritually rewarding Hajj experience.
The Executive Secretary of the Kwara State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Abdulsalam Abdulkadir, has urged intending pilgrims to attend a crucial enlightenment lecture where key aspects of Hajj rites will be discussed.
During an interaction with journalists in his office, Abdulkadir emphasized the importance of the program, which aims to equip pilgrims with essential knowledge for a successful Hajj experience.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Board Press Secretary, Jimoh Jumoke, and made available to journalists in the state.
He enjoined intending pilgrims from all the sixteen Local Government Areas of Kwara State, as well as non-Kwarans who intend to travel with the Board to also attend.
Abdulkadir explained that the enlightenment lecture would hold at the Kwara State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board Premises on Sunday 20th April, 2025.
The Executive Secretary, added that a special prayer for the safety of the pilgrims would be led by the Chief Imam of Ilorin, Sheik Imam Mohammed Bashir, and other clerics across the State by 10:am prompt.
