The Executive Committee and members of Ilorin Anchor Men and Women Initiative, an Ilorin-based social cultural association, has congratulated Prof. Mohammed Mustapha Akanbi SAN on his appointment as the Vice-Chancellor of Kwara State University (KWASU), Malete.
The association in a statement jointly signed by the President and Secretary of the initiative, Engr. Adamu Bayo Olufadi and Barr. Abdulrahman Olawale Solagberu respectively on 1st of April, 2020, commended the Kwara State Governor, His Excellency, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, for putting a round peg in a round hole.
The statement described Professor Akanbi’s appointment as a landmark achievement in his career and a great achievement to academic community of Ilorin Emirate, and the entire Ilorin Emirate community
The association also felicitated with His Royal Highness, the Emir of Ilorin , Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu Gambari OFR, IEDPU, Mustapha Akanbi family, Nigerian Bar Association, and a host of others on this well deserved appointment.
The association prayed to Almighty Allah to grant the Vice-Chancellor knowledge and wisdom, to steer the affairs of the Ivory tower.
