As House of Representatives bye election holds in Ekiti/Isin/Irepodun/Oke-Ero Federal Constituency of Kwara State tomorrow, Labour Party Governorship Candidate in the 2019 governorship election in the State, Comrade Issa Aremu has called on all party men and women as well as teeming supporters of the Party to come out enmass and cast their votes in a peaceful manner.
Aremu also called on all eligible voters in Kwara to vote against the status quo and vote for genuine change in the Saturday’s bye-election for the Ekiti/Isin/Irepodun/Oke-Ero Federal Constituency seat of Kwara State.
While commending the LP Candidate Hon. Awokunle Femi Ona-Ara for Saturday bye election for his commitment and patriotism as a tested grass root politician, Aremu noted it was time for a bipartisan approach for the democratic liberation of Kwara State adding that LP remains the party that would transform Kwara state from the exiting ghettos of poverty to vast land of prosperity for all Kwarans and all those who live and work in the state.
Aremu calls on INEC and security agencies to ensure a credible, free, fair and peaceful election.
The Saturday bye-election is necessitated by the death of Hon. Funke Adedoyin who had represented the constituency in the National Assembly.
