President Muhammadu Buhari has promised to elvove more developmental policies and programmes that will turn around the fortunes of the country.
He pledged to work harder in his second term in order to justify the confidence reposed in him by Nigerians.
President Buhari made the pledge on Wednesday in Abuja while addressing leadership of the Arewa Consultative Forum who paid him a visit at the Presidential Villa to congratulate him on his re-election.
“This is my last lap, I will try to work harder. I assure you, I will not let you down”, he told the group led by its Board of Trustees Chairman, Alhaji Adamu Fika.
In his address, Adamu Fika had earlier said the group was impressed by Buhari’s performance in his first term, especially in delivering some important projects like the Baro Dry Port in the North.
