The Chief Executive Officer of Access Bank PLC, Herbert Wigwe has died in a helicopter crash in the United States.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) reported that the crash occurred near Nipton, California, with six people on board.
“A Eurocopter EC 130 helicopter crashed near Nipton, California, around 10pm, local time on Friday, February 10. Six peoples were on board.” Statement from the FAA website read.
“The FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) will investigate. The NTSB will be in charge of the investigation and will provide updates.”
According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff Department, no survivors had been found and at Saturday morning.
“We were made aware of a downed aircraft at approximately 10:12pm on February 10, 2024. The scene of the crash was determined to be east of the 15-Freeway, near Halloran Springs Road,” said the Sheriff Department.
