The Governing Council of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors has conferred a prestigious title of Fellow on the Kwara State Commissioner of Tertiary Education, Dr Alabi Afees Abolore.
According to a statement signed by the Press Secretary of the Ministry of Tertiary Education, Hajia Mansurat Amuda-kannike and made available to newsmen, the conferment was in recognition of Dr Abolore’s invaluable contributions to the society, having attained the peak of his career.
The entire management of the Ministry of Tertiary Education celebrated the commissioner, whom they described as commendable and well deserved.
“In his comment, the Director Planning, Research and Statistics of the Ministry, Alhaji Jimoh Zubair, congratulated the Honourable Commissioner on the milestone achievement, stating that the Fellowship Award was not a surprise because Dr. Abolore has always demonstrated high level of versatility.
Also, the Director Continuing Education, Elder Joseph Babatunde Afolayan, said the Fellowship Conferment on the Commissioner is a manifestation of his commitment and sense of professionalism, adding that it was well deserved and meritorious.
In addition, the Acting Director Personnel Finance and Supply, Mrs Florence Balogun, noted that Dr. Abolore’s elevation is a clear testimony of his dedication and hard work, praying God Almighty to grant him greater heights, strength and wisdom in all his endeavours.
In their contributions, the Director Research and Development Dr Oguntunde, Director Tertiary Health Education Alhaji Garba Zikirullah Muhammed, Director Quality Assurance Hajiya Rhodiya Omotayo Yahya and Comptroller Account and Finance Alhaji Raimi Akanbi and other Deputy directors showered accolades on the Commissioner.
