Ex-Kwara HoS, Susan Oluwole, remembered as a model of professionalism- NLC

The Kwara State Council of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has heaped glowing tributes on the late immediate past state Head of Service, Mrs Susan Modupe Oluwole, describing her as a beacon of professionalism.

The organized labour identified the deceased as a pillar of support to the state workforce and also ensured smooth administration of government policies.

The state NLC Chairman, Comrade Muritala Saheed Olayinka, said this in a condolence statement issued and made available to Journalists in Ilorin on Friday.

It was titled “Condolence message on the passing of Late Mrs Susan Modupe Oluwole, Kwara State Head of Service”.

Olayinka explained that the late head of service was a dedicated and exemplary public servant who served the state with diligence, integrity, and unwavering commitment.

While praying for the repose of the soul of Mrs Oluwole, the NLC chairman extended sympathy to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, the state government and her family during what he described as “this difficult time”.

“It is with deep sorrow and a heavy heart that I, on behalf of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Kwara State Chapter, extend my heartfelt condolences to His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, the government, her family and the good people of Kwara State on the passing of our immediate past state Head of Service, Late Mrs Susan Modupe Oluwole.

“Mrs Oluwole was a dedicated and exemplary public servant who served Kwara State with diligence, integrity, and unwavering commitment. Her leadership and contributions to the civil service will forever be remembered. She was a beacon of professionalism and a pillar of support to the workforce, always advocating the welfare of workers while ensuring the smooth administration of government policies.

“Her departure is a great loss not only to the civil service but to the entire state. We pray that the Almighty God grants her eternal rest and gives her family, friends, colleagues, and all those who mourn her the strength to bear this irreparable loss”, the condolence statement partly read.

It would be recalled that the late former Head of Service died on Wednesday at the age of 58, barely a year after her retirement from the service of the state government.
