All roads lead to Ilorin, the Kwara State Capital, as arrangements have been put in place for the successful take-off of the 6th Golf &Tour Kitty Group tournament holding at Golf Club, Ilorin, between August 31st and September 2nd 2023.
The Executive Governor of kwara state, who doubles as the Chairman Nigeria’s Governors Forum, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, is expected to declare the event open on Saturday.
The much awaited event would also be graced by over 120 retired and serving Military Generals, Chairman Senate Committee on Agricultural and Rural Development, Senator Saliu Mustapha, and several other eminent personalities across the country.
According to a statement issued in Ilorin by one of the co-hosts of the tournament, Dr. Edward Adewale Akingbade, and made available to Highprofile, said the event is scheduled to mark the 6th quarter tour of the distinguished, prestigious and illustrious Golf kitty Group in Ilorin.
Though a self sustaining Group, the statement added that, “Dr Akingbade intends to use the opportunity to showcase the recreational potentials of the ancient city of Ilorin”.
The statement added that the tournament is being organised by Golf & Tour Group, and therefore urged the members of the group to be fully prepared and be supportive in order to make it a memorable event.
