The Chairman of Labour Party, Kwara State Chapter, Comrade Abdulmumini Onagun, has congratulated the immediate past General Secretary of the Nigeria Union of Textile, Garment and Tailoring Workers of Nigeria (NUTGTWN), Comrade Issa Aremu over the successful completion of his tenure as the union’s scribe.
Comrade Onagun made the description on Wednesday (April 8, 2020) in an interview with journalists in Ilorin, the kwara state capital.
He described Comrade Aremu as a great asset and labour leader of international repute whose impact is felt across sub Sahara Africa and the world at large.
Comrade Onagun who is the former Chairman of the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC) in Kwara State, said the significant roles and spectacular achievements Comrade Aremu cannot be forgotten in a hurry.
“We thank the Almighty Allah for the fruitful and successful end of tenure of our own Comrade Governorship candidate (LP) in 2019 general election in the State of Harmony, Comrade Issa Aremu mni.
“To me and my colleagues, this is the beginning of better things to happen to his life and in deed, his family in general. We wish to appreciate the Textile, Garment and Tailoring Workers Union for the confidence reposed in him all the while”.
He commented the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and indeed the Industrial Global Union for compromising millions of workers across the globe for having so much trust in the person of Comrade Issa Aremu mni.
