it was a dream come true for the people of Temidire Community in Warrah-Osin-Egbejila ward in Ilorin West Local Government area of Kwara State on Tuesday when a 500KVA transformer that was facilitated by the Leader of the State House of Assembly, Hon. Magaji Abubakar Olawoyin was delivered to the community.
The presentation of the transformer brought an end to long years of total darkness being experienced by the people of the Community in Egbejila ward of Ilorin Central Constituency.
The transformer was facilitated by the lawmaker with the help of the Governor of the State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.
The transformer was jointly delivered to the community by the Commissioner for Energy, Alhaji Lafia Aliyu Sabi and Hon. Magaji Abubakar Olawoyin.
Speaking at the installation, Hon Olawoyin said the delivery of the 500kva transformer was a testimony that the AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq administration remained committed to the well being of the people of his constituency and the state at large.
He urged the community to continue to support the present administration in it’s frantic efforts to make the state more habitable to all through provision of various people oriented programmes and projects.
It would be ecalled that some months ago the Community Development Association of Temidire Community solicited the state government’s intervention, through Hon Olawoyin, to end the prolonged blackout in its community.
He promised them that their transformer would be installed before the commencement of year 2020 Ramadan.
The Community Development Association on Electricity, Yusuff Onimago, appreciated Governor AbdulRazaq and Hon. Magaji Abubakar Olawoyin for the delivery of the transformer, with a pledge to guard the facility jealously so as to serve them better and for the long period of time.
