The Ilorin Emirate Youth Development Association (IEYDA) has congratulated the newly appointed Vice Chancellor of Kwara State University, Prof. Muhammad Mustapha Akanbi, SAN
The association also commended the Kwara State Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for putting a round peg in a round hole.
This was contained in a statement jointly signed by the association National President, Alhaji Abdullahi Babatunde Salaudeen and National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Muhammad Uthman Jagunma and available to newsmen in Ilorin.
The statement particularly appreciated Governor AbdulRazaq for appointing a true son of Ilorin Emirate as the new Vice Chancellor.
The group describe the appointment as well-deserved and a big blessings to Ilorin Emirate and Kwara State at large.
IEYDA commend the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Dr. Ibrahim Sulu Gambari for his commendable leadership and his roles in ensuring peace and harmony in the Ilorin Emirate and Kwara State at large.
The association then appreciated the governor for ensuring good governance in the state and pledged continuous support for his administration towards the development of the state.
The statement expressed confidence in the ability of new to deliver in view of his wealth experience in academic, administration and legal profession.
IEYDA then charged the appointee to see his appointment as a blessing and favour from Allah and put in his best towards elevating the status of the University amongst it’s equal, with pray that Almighty Allah should grant him the wisdom and knowledge to carry out his responsibilities excellently.
