The parties, which launched a new alliance tagged: Coalition for a New Nigeria (CNN) last year, are meeting on a new strategy for the 2019 general elections and the state of the nation. The Spokesman of the political parties, Dr. Yunusa Tanko, said the merger was unlike the one that produced the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC). Tanko said in a statement in Abuja that the coalition had been meeting and would also meet on Tuesday on the plans for the elections. He said coalition would brief Nigerians on their plans for the polls.
