The Chairman, Members of the Board of Trustees and management staff of Mustapha Akanbi Foundation (MAF) have felicitated with Prof. Ibrahim Agboola Gambari CFR over his appointment as the Chief of Staff to President Muhammed Buhari, GCFR.
The foundation, in a statement signed by its Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Dr Mudasiru Salami and made available to Journalists in Ilorin, said appointment of Professor Gambari is a round peg in a round hole.
The MAF appreciated President Muhammadu Buhari for considering Professor Gambari worthy of his CoS and prayed God to give the new appointee all that is needed to justify the confidence reposed in him.
“This development is not surprising to us given his wealth of experience in both local and international administration. We pray Almighty Allah to guide and protect him while serving his father land, Nigeria.
The foundation therefore felicitated with the Emir of Ilorin, Dr Ibrahim Sulu Gamabari, the Executive Governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, and the entire people of the state over this exalted position.
MAF also use this medium to extend her sincere appreciation to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria for this well deserved and merited appointment.
