The Ilorin Emirate Staff Association, University of Ilorin will on Sunday April 12th, 2019 hold her annual Ramadan Lecture.
The event which is scheduled to hold at the Multipurpose Hall, Kwara State College of Education, Ilorin, will feature the Head of Department of Islamic Law, University of Ilorin, Professor Abdulrasaq Abdulmajeed Alaro as the guest speaker.
The programme, according to a statement signed by the Public Relations Officer of the association, Dr Oba Abdulkadir La’aro of the Department of Mass Communication and made available to the newsmen in Ilorin, will begin at 10 am prompt.
The guest speaker, Professor Alaro will be speaking on the topic “Ilorin Heritage: Contemporary Challenges and the Way Forward”
The former Vice Chancellor of the University of Ilorin, Professor Shuaib Oba Abdulraheem will be the Special Guest of Honour on the occasion and the event will be chaired by former Deputy Vice Chancellor Management Services, University of Ilorin, Pro Adedayo Y. Abdulkareem, while the Chairman of the association, Professor Sulyman Alege Kuranga, will be the Chief Host
The statement therefore implored members and non members of Ilorin emirate staff of the University of Ilorin and the general public to grace the occasion as the lecture promises to be educative, informative and very revealing.
