The Kwara State chapter of Arewa Youth Consultative Forum, (AYCF) has applauded the peaceful conduct of people of the state during the first round of 2019 general elections.
The forum gave the commendation in a statement signed by the state Chairman, Comrade Ishaq Kazeem Elewure and the Publicity Secretary, Muhammed Magaji in Ilorin.
It also appreciated all security agencies, INEC staff, elections observers and Nigerians for display decorum during the exercise and implored them to repeat the same in the next Saturday exercise.
The AYCF congratulated all candidates of All Progressives Congress in Kwara state for their victory during last elections.
The forum therefore commended supporters of People Democratic Party in the state for adopting the spirit of sportsmanship.
The AYCF also advised politicians and their supporters to continue to play the game according to the laid down rules and regulations for the betterment of the state and the country in general.
