Read what Emir told LP governorship aspirant in Kwara

The Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahimovic Sulu Gambari has told the governorship aspirant on the platform of Labour Party in Kwara State, Comrade Issa Aremu to continue with his intent, describeing him as a competent candidate who is fit, by all standard, to be the state Governor and even the President of this country.

The Emir said the LP governorship candidate is a man with a versed knowledge and wealth of experience who according to him has been a mover and shaker of this country and beyond.

He said that his leadership quality has given him the ample opportunity and recognition to have been nominated at different times to represent Kwara, Nigeria and even Africa in general at different fora.

The Emir made this known today while receiving the LP Governorship aspirant in his palace who was in the palace to receive royal blessings ahead of his party primaries slated to hold on Saturday, September 8, 2018 in Ilorin, the Kwara state capita.

Alhaji Sulu Gambari said Comrade Aremu was one of the leading figures at the former National Confab that was set up by the former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan held in Abuja, of which the Emir was one of the participants.

The Emir who is also the chairman of the Kwara State Council of Chiefs, said Comrade Aremu has every right to contest for any political office of his choice in view of his track record of achievements and prayed God to be with him and guide him in the task ahead.

Earlier, comrade Aremu said he was at the palace to solicit for royal blessings and support as one of the sons of the Emirate vying for the office of the Kwara State governor in the forthcoming 2019 general elections.

He pledged that Kwara will witness tremendous job creation during his tenure, promising that old industries in the state will be revived while the new ones will be created for the benefit of the teeming unemployed youth in the state.
