The National Association of University Students (NAUS) Kwara State Chapter extends its warmest congratulations to Comrade Idris Ayomo Adelu, the newly elected Student Union (SU) President of the University of Ilorin, Adelu, a 300-level student of Political Science, secured 2,211 votes, defeating his sole rival, Rasheed Afees Opeyemi, who garnered 1,935 votes.
The association commends the University of Ilorin management for demonstrating transparency and commitment to democratic principles during the recent Students’ Union election.
While noting that this commendation underscores the university’s dedication to upholding the rule of law and ensuring a fair electoral process that reflects the will of the student body.
