The newly sworn in Executive Governor of Kano State, Alh Abbah Kanir Yusuf has dissolved members of the Kano State Muslim Pilgrimage Welfare Board.
The new Governor also approved the appointments of Alhaji Yusuf Lawan as the new Chairman, and Alhaji Laminu Rabi’u as the Executive Secretary and members of the Board.
This is contained in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa.
Other members of the board are; Shiek Abbas Abubakar Daneji, Shiek Shehi Shehi Maihula, Amb. Munir Lawan- Member, Shiek Isma’il Mangu, Hajia Aishatu Munir Matawalle, and Dr. Sani Ashir.
The statement said the “The appointees are expected to takeover the affairs of the board immediately to ensure successful 2023 Hajj operation”
