The Kwara state monthly Environmental Sanitation exercise holds today 25th, March, 2023, with an appeal to the general public to fully participate by cleaning their residential and business environments.
The exercise, according to a statement signed by the Press Secretary of the state Ministry of Environment, Yakub Kamaldeen Aliagan, and made available to the public, will hold from 7:00 am to 9:00am.
The statement added that there will be no vehicular and human movement across the state within the period of the exercise.
“Kindly note that the monitoring agencies will be on ground to monitor compliance and it will be observed across the State. The waste management trucks will be on the street for waste collection and subsequent disposal at the final dump site as part of the exercise in the Ilorin metropolis” the statement said.
