A prominent sociocultural youth organisation in Igbomina land, ‘Igbomina Youth Assembly’, has felicitated Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq on his re-election as the Governor of Kwara State.
The Assembly, in a congratulatory message signed by the President of the Assembly, Engr. Abdulrasheed Temitope Jimoh and issued by the Assembly’s Publicity Secretary, Abdulrasaq Ismaheel Opeyemi, on Wednesday (March 22, 2023),described Governor Abdulrazaq’s re-election as a confirmation of his credible performance that traversed the length and breadth of the state.
“I want to use this medium to congratulate Your Excellency on this successful re-election for another four years in the recently concluded Gubernatorial electionsas the Executive Governor of our dear State of Harmony”.
“The vast majority of Kwarans have yet again entrusted Your Excellency with the State affairs for the next four years and it is our hope and prayer that this gesture would be reciprocated with remarkable improvement in your administration geared towards delivering the dividends of democracy to the nooks and crannies of Kwara State as promised in your campaigns across boards.
“Thus, we, as a socio-cultural group, have no iota of doubt in Your Excellency’s capacity and capability to better the lot of Kwarans, especially Igbomina land and her people in the next dispensation. We have that full belief that Your Excellency will not betray the confidence and trust we have in you as we are very much optimistic that Your Excellency will do amazingly well in your second term in office”.
“Igbomina Youth Assembly would be looking forward to partnering with the State Government on numerous laudable, result-driven, masses-oriented and community based initiatives, projects and programmes within the Igbomina communities and beyond” the statement added.
Engr. Jimoh therefore prayed that the good Lord will continue to grant the Governor the required grace, will, wisdom and wherewithal to pilot the affairs of the State to greater heights.
