As 2023 election is garthering momentum, a political group in kwara central APC PATRIOTS has called on the special adviser to the state governor on special duties Mall Ahmed Yinka Aluko to aspire for a seat in the red chamber of the national assembly.
This was contained in a communique at the end of their meeting held on Sunday at pake LGEA Primary school premises.
The statement jointly signed by the president of the association Alhaji Olateju Babatunde and the secretary Mallam Abdulrauf Babatunde Akata stated that their decision was premised on the anticidents of Yinka Aluko in his previously held political positions.
It described him as a widely accepted grassroot politician prior to o toge mantra, the reason he was nicknamed ORIGINAL HOMEBOY.
The association lauded the numerous achievements of the present administration of Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq in the state which endered him to the people of the State.
The statement implored the people of the state vote the governor for second term to consolidate his achievements.
Imploring the people of the state to resist returning back to the past politics of slavery, the group urged kwarans to synergize in sustaining a progressive government.
