The authority of the University of Ilorin, Ilorin, has recognized the Olupo of Ajase-Ipo, H.R.M. Oba Ismail Mohammed Atoloye Alebiosu, as one of its distinguished alumni, who have excelled in their respective fields.
Oba Alebiosu is one of the selected Alumni of the institution that were celebrated today Wednesday (July 16, 2925) as part of activities marking the University’s 50th anniversary.
In a nomination letter to the Monarch that was signed by the Vice Chancellor of the institution, Prof. Wahab Olasupo Egbewole, the university described Oba Alebiosu as a proud Alumnus who is a pride to the institution.
“I am pleased to inform you that the Management of University of Ilorin has approved your nomination as a Unilorin Ambassador in recognition of your steadfast commitment to promoting the ideals and image of the University”.
“Through your academic engagements and public representation, you have consistently portrayed the University in a most favourable light, for which we are deeply appreciative.
“We are excited to honour your enduring loyalty and contributions to the Unilorin brand on this auspicious occasion, and we look forward to your presence” the statement added.
The investiture ceremony of Oba Alebiosu and other selected eminent Nigerians held today Wednesday, 16th July 2025 at University Auditorium.
