The Ilorin Emirate For Unity and Development Initiative has congratulated the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu Gambari CFR, and the entire Muslim Ummah on the commencement of the holy month of Ramadan.
The IEUDI, in a press statement signed by iys National President Alh Moshood Lekan Salau and Hon. Abdullahi AbdulRauph AbdulSalam National Secretary, described the month of Ramadan as period of mercy, forgiveness, sacrifice and spiritual growth and reflection.
“As we welcome this blessed month, we pray that Allah (SWT) grants us strength, peace, and abundant blessings. May our fasting, prayers, and acts of kindness bring us closer to Him and fill our hearts with mercy and forgiveness.
“We wish you and your loved ones a month of spiritual growth, happiness, and prosperity. May Allah accept our ibadah and grant us Mercy in this life and the hereafter. Amen.
“This sacred month is full of blessings, forgiveness, and generosity. IEUDI urges everyone, especially the wealthy, to support the less privileged by extending their hands of generosity.
“Let’s make this Ramadan a month of kindness, compassion, and spiritual renewal. Congratulations once again, and Ramadan Mubarak” the statement added.
