Thanksgiving and Triumph: 10th Kwara Live Awards Empowers and Inspires

The 10th edition of the Kwara Live Awards took place on December 18, 2024, at the Kwara State Banquet Hall, Ilorin, honoring distinguished personalities, companies, and individuals whose remarkable efforts have shaped Kwara State’s development and advancement.

The harmonious event was graced with the presence of its yearly host, Engr. Job Amosun, his lovely wife, Engr. Funmi Amosun, the Amosun family, the awardees, as well as their representatives and other guests.

Over the decade,  Kwara Live Awards has promoted and encouraged businesses and organisations as well as individuals for their commitment, diligence and consistence and therefore honoure them with honorary awards, Top 100 awards, and Madam Kate Amosun awards respectively. 

Some of the winners of the honorary awards include Oba Ademola Julius Ajibola, the Olusin of Ijara Isin of Kwara state as the Royal Father of the year, Bishop David Abioye as a honorary awardee, Alh. Amodu kamorudeen (Good car company) as business man of the year among others.  

Some winners of the top 100 categories include BAL engineering, House 12, G-NET hotel, as well as a host of other captains of industries and several notable corporate  organisations. 

At this year’s edition of the 10th year of the Kwara Live Awards, Engr. Job Amosun went a step further to give five selected people instead of the usual one person ‘the Madam Kate Amosun Award’ of #100,000 each making a total of #500,000; similarly,  a raffle draw for the top 100 category with various electronics won and the top prize of a 225sqm land in evergreen estate worth 6.5million naira was won by Ejire Oniluoba and his traditional music group.

Other beneficiaries of the empowerment include 1 Oyun student, 1 Higher institution in Ilorin, 4 Artisans with #25, 000 each as a award of appreciation 

and 5 Physically Challenged people in business with #20,000 each, while the sum of #100, 000 was presented to Igbekeleoluwa Association of Emmanuel Baptist Church (Madam Kate Amosun’s Group) making the total amount dolled out for the empowerment to be the sum of  #1million naira.

Another major part of the occasion was the unveiling of the ‘kwara live app’ which consists  of a whole of businesses all over kwara state with the services they render as well as their contacts, book a ride service as well as various other functions.  

Just as the theme, it was truly a “THANKSGIVING ”  for Engr. Job Amosun and family as well as the crew of kwara live project. As this year’s award has once again showcased kwara Live’s dedication to promoting and developing kwara state,  we await more robust packages that the next year will have in stock for us. May God spare our lives till the next year and beyond.
