KWASU Celebrates Deacon Michael Dada’s Dedicated Service

The Kwara State University (KWASU) community on Friday (August 23, 2024),gathered to bid a farewell to Deacon Michael Alade Dada, a devoted registry staff member who has has just  retired from active service after 15 years of dedicated service in KWASU.

The Vice Chancellor Prof. Shaykh Luqman Jimoh praised Deacon Dada as a diligent, hardworking, and exceptional individual who has left an indelible mark on the institution.

Deacon Dada’s retirement marks the end of an era, as he is the first registry staff member to retire from KWASU. He is a pioneer staff when the institution was established in 2009.

Prof. Jimoh described Deacon Dada as a “dictionary of the Kwasu registry,” saying that the institution benefiyyed immensely from his vast wealth of experience and knowledge.

The Vice Chancellor announced that Deacon Dada would be retained in the system on contract to continue mentoring and guiding future generations.

The KWASU boss expressed gratitude to the registry unit for organizing the event, saying it reflects the celebrant’s positive impact on the system.

“Deacon Dada’s dedication and commitment have earned him the respect and admiration of the staff” the VC said.

Also speaking, the Deputy Vice Chancellor Administration, Prof. Mashood Mahmood Jimba, described Deacon Dada as a competent, hardworking, and reliable staff member,  stressing that he enjoyed every bitof his working relationship with him.

The Registrar, Dr. Kikelomo W. Sallee commended Deacon Dada’s exceptional administrative skills and mentorship, saying he made a mark as a fine administrator.

She wished him a happy and fulfilling retirement, just as she thanked him for his years of dedicated service to the system.

All speakers at the reception spoke highly of Deacon Dada, acknowledging the indelible mark he has left on KWASU.
