The National Executive Council of the Nigeria Institution of Civil Engineers, (NICE) has conferred the NICE Fellowship award on the Deputy Director of Works, Kwara State University (KWASU),, Engr. Nurudeen idrees, in recognition of his sterling contributions to the development of Engineering profession in the country.
Also conferred with this prestigious award of FNICE is the University of Ilorin & Chapter Chairman, Ilorin NICE branch, Engr. Sayi Mashood Olorundare.

Other awardees from Ilorin Branch include, Engr. Sanni Olufemi Kolawole- Chairman, Hilltop insurance brokers, and Engr. Babatunde Hakeem Kayode of the Allview Designs Nig Ltd.
The conferment of the award took place in Abuja on Wednesday, (May 29, 2024).
Speaking to The Highprofile shortly after the conferment of the award, Engr Nurudeen Idrees appreciated the National Headquarters for deeming fit to recognise him for this prestigious award of the Fellow of Nigeria Institution of Civil Engineers (FNICE).
Engr Idrees, who doubles as an Internal Council member of the Kwara State University (KWASU), pledged that the recognition would further.spur him to continue to do his best for the growth and advancement of Enginering profession in the state and country at large.
