The Kwara State Correctional Service Controller, Adeyinka Adebayo Oyun is dead.
According to a statement signed by the Public Relations Officer, of Nigerian Correctional Service, Kwara State Command, SC Adegbulugbe Philip Olumide (anipr) and made available to the newsmen, said late Oyun died in the early hours of Saturday (May 24, 2024).
“We regret to announce the sudden death of Controller Adeyinka Adebayo Oyun, who passed on to glory in the early hours of Today, Saturday 25th of May 2024.
“Until his demise he was the Controller of Correctional Service, Kwara State Command AA Oyun was in the office until 6:pm on Friday 24th of May 2024
“His sudden death is a colossal loss to the entire staff of the Command. He was an active, dedicated, committed and a transparent leader” the statement added.
The statement said that his burial arrangement would be announced later.
