…As Board Chairman lauds Gov AbdulRazaq, Sen. Oloriegbe’s intervention

The 313 pilgrims of the first batch of Kwara state for the 2024 Hajj exercise have landed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia safely, even as the Chairman, State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Professor Mashood Jimba described the intervention of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and Amir Hajj Senator Yahaya Oloriegbe as very helpful, supportive and worthwhile.
The flight departed Babatunde Idiagbon International Airpot, Ilorin to Saudi Arabia around 10:30 am on Tuesday (.ay 21, 2024) and touched down at Prince Mohammed Ibn Abdu-Aziz International Airport, Madina, around 4:30 pm Nigeria time.
Professor Jimba particularly commended Governor AbdulRazaq for the massive renovation of the Hajj Camp, saying that his quick response to the project further confirms his true love and affection for the state.
“The massive renovation of the Hajj Camp and quick response to other matters that are connected with the exercise, shows clearly that he is a listening Governor, a working Governor and people’s Governor, who put the interests of the masses at heart” he said.
The Board Chairman also commended the Governor for appointing Senator Ibrahim Yahaya Oloriegbe as this year Amir Hajj, describing his appointment as a step in a right direction.
While commending Senator Oloriegbe for his kind intervention, Professor Jimba said “Oloriegbe’s appointment by the Executive Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq is a good development and a blessing to the operations”
The 313 pilgrims are now settling down just as they’re expected to visit the Prophet’s mosque and other historical places within the few days of their stay in Madina.
