NEMSAS, OSEMSAS hail UNIOSUN Teaching Hospital’s emergency services

The National Emergency Medical Services and Ambulance System (NEMSAS) has hailed the emergency services of the UNIOSUN Teaching Hospital, Osogbo.

This is even as the Board Chairman, Osun State Emergency Medical Services and Ambulance Services System (OSEMSAS), Hon. Disu Waidi lauded the hospital for the prompt attention it is giving to those who need emergency care in the hospital.

Hon. Disu gave the applaud when the agency, in conjunction with the National Emergency Medical Services and Ambulance System (NEMSAS) team paid a working visit to the Chief Medical Director of the hospital, Prof Peter Babatunde Olaitan.

He said the agency appreciates the health care provision rendered by the hospital especially in the area of emergency care services.

In his speech, Dr. Pere Emuren who is the Head of Operations stated that the agency at the national level is satisfied with the feedback from the health care service delivery of the hospital.

Dr. Emuren said further that, the operations and facilities at the hospital’s Accident and Emergency unit give the team a sense of confidence.

In his response, the Chief Medical Director of the hospital, Prof. Peter Babatunde Olaitan said one of the rules at the Emergency Unit is that, “nobody should be denied medical care for no reason”

The CMD added that the hospital is already proposing residency training in emergency care.
