The Kwara State Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman has procured new set of back up equipments for the Kwara State Television Authority (KWTV)
According to a statement signed by the Press Secretary of the state Ministry of communications, Abdulganiyu Bukola, the state-of-the-art equipment was procured in a bid to enhance quality production on KWTV and to ensure that the station is placed on a standard level of broadcasting acrss the globe.
Unveiling the equipment at the broadcasting station this week, the state Commissioner of Communications, Hon. Bola Olukoju commended the State Government for its proactiveness at ensuring that state owned media outfits are fully equipped, to operate at optimal levels.
She later charged the management of the TV station to ensure they make good use of the equipments to boost viewership, noting that the administration of Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq is leaving no stone unturned in the journey of placing Kwara State in the league of developed states in Nigeria and the world at large.

She explained that, “with what KWTV used to be, every individual will now agree that we are definitely getting better day after day “.
She also charged the station staff to be more active and productive in order to justify the good actions of the present administration in the state.
Responding, the General Manager of Kwara State Television Authority, Alhaji Ayobami Akanbi expressed greater appreciation to the State Government for its steadfast commitment to addressing challenges faced by the station as well as the consistent support for all the state owned media outfits.
Alhaji Akanbi explained that, with the availability of this state of the art equipment, the station will no doubt maintain the desired quality and dish out educational, informative and entertaining contents for the entire Kwara citizens.
The new equipment procured include; Vimix system with Configuration, Black Magic design Aten Television Studio Pro 4k switcher and Black Magic Decklink Mini Monitor 4k among others.
It could be recalled that KwaraTV was in comatose at the advent of Governor AbdulRahaman AbdulRazaq led administration, but got rescucitated and repositioned through the consistent interventions of the state government.
