Bazarab Foundation doles out cash to indigent pupils in kwara

An Ilorin based frontline foundation, ‘Bazarab Educational Foundation (BEF)‘ has again put smiles on the faces of indigent pupils in some selected primary schools across Kwara state.

The representatives of the foundation went round the selected schools during the week and presented this term school fees to the beneficiaries one after the other.

The BEF has since begun the termly payment of school fees of selected indigent pupils who came from the less privileged homes.

The founder of the foundation, Dr (Mrs) Zainab Bolajoko Balogun, said the rationale behind the gesture was to give children that were not born with silver spoon in their mouths the opportunity to have access to qualitaty education.

Balogun added that the move was also partly instituted to support the state government in its frantic efforts to ensure that every child in the state has access to sound and qualitative education.

The foundation believes that catching them young would afford them the ample opportunity to have a better and brighter future.

“This termly voluntary support to the vulnerable through the group efforts was designed to enhance better tomorrow for the beneficiaries and to also support the government in its efforts to add more value to the standard of education in the state” she said.
