As he walks towards bowing out of the Kwara State House of Assembly, after working with the Indefatigable and amiable Executive Governor of Kwara State since the inauguration as member of the State House of Assembly between June, 2019 to June, 2023, Hon. Ali Amuda Jimoh has, no doubt, portrayed himself as exemplary leader with track record of achievements.
Hon. Ali, who represents Ilorin East State Constituency, was elected as the Deputy Chief Whip by his colleagues immediately after their inauguration. No doubt, within the past years and till the present date, he has been instrumental to maintaining orderliness, encouraging love and sustaining adequate peaceful coexistence in the State Assembly, which paved the way for an enduring stability and smooth running of the day – to – day business in the Hallow Chamber.
Without mincing words, I will always like to classify Hon. Ali as a man with a Golden heart who always bears in mind welfare of his people, particularly his constituents.
It is of great note to emphazise on his good works with regard to provision of water to many communities across Ilorin East State Constituency.
These includes: Motorised boreholes in Panada, Aluko Laaro, Ipata Ebi, Agboge of Agbeyangi, Apado, Zango and Oke Oyi/Oke Ose/Alalubosa wards respectively.
Apart from the above, Twenty Three (23) Hand Pump Motorised boreholes were also sunk across the entire Twelve (12) wards that made up his Constituency in the state. Scholarships were also awarded towards to 25 SSS1 students to SSS3, and many more.
All of the above, would no doubt be classified as landmark achievements, not to leave out
Similarly, he carefully and meticulously selected several people for assistance on Empowerment programmes, Financial Support for Individuals, job opportunities in the area of vocational skills, as well as assistance in the area of gainful employment in different Government Parastals, Agencies and Institutions which I.am a beneficiary with my present place of work which I personally benefit through his kind gesture and unique connection.
His love for hus immediate community can not be wished away, while his respect for the Traditional rulers, Community elders, ulamars , women and the youths can not also be waived aside.
Hon. Ali is reputed to be one of the leading examples of a lawmaker with quality representation. His leadership style and lagislative acumen could not be forgotten in a hurry. He is a pride to his Constituency local government and the state in general.
We can not but wish him well in his future endeavor, as I equally pray to Almighty Allah in His infinite mercy to continue to strengthen him, abide with him, grant him peace of mind and raise him for a better position in the nearest future.
