…as Hijrah Organization holds workshop for Chief Imams
The Hijrah Organization of Nigeria, National Headquarters has concluded all arrangements to organise a seminar for all Chief Imams across the 16 Local Government Areas of kwara State.
The programme, according to a statement signed by the Chairman, Hijrah Dawah Committee, Alhaji Imam Yasir Remilekun, is slated for 4th Dhul-Qadah, 1444AH, Saturday, 3rd June 2023 at the IMAN Center, opposite Eid praying ground by 9:00am prompt.
It stated that the event was targeted at brainstorming on their spiritual obligations in the society towards enhanced spiritual development of their congregation and the entire nation.
The organization under the leadership of Prof. Badmas Olanrewaju Yusuf therefore invites the Chief Imam of Offa, Fadheelat Sheikh Imam Muhyideen Salman.
The Chief Imam is expected to speak on the theme of the workshop, “towards enhancement Capacity and Effective of Imams in the State.
Other speakers include, Hon. Justice Idris Haroon, OFR, Prof. Hamza Abdulraheem to speak on the Sub-themes, which include, Enriching our Khutbah, relevant examples for better understanding of the worship, leadership responsibilities of the Imams in addition to leading regular Salaat.
Meanwhile the Executive Governor of the state, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdur Razaq is expected as the special guest of honour of the day; His Eminence, Mai Martabah, Alhaji Dr. Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, OFR is the Riyal father of the day; while the chief Imam of Ilorin, Alhaji Sheikh Dr Muhammad Basheer Ibn Imam Solihu, OON will be the spiritual father of the day.
