A Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Magistrate court sitting in Wuse area of Abuja on Thursday (May 18, 2923) discharged and acquitted the National Chairman of the Action Alliance (AA), Dr Adekunle Rufai Omoaje of all charges preferred against him by one Kenneth Udeze.
This has laid to rest the lingering fathom criminal charges instituted by a former member of the AA, Kenneth Udeze against Omo-Aje.
The case started in 2021 on a criminal complaint of defamation and insult leveled against Omo-Aje.
The said case suffered series of adjournments until it was finally laid to rest by the court.
The presiding Magistrate while upholding the no-case submission of the counsel to Omo-Aje, discharged and Acquitted him (Omoaje) of all the charges preferred against him.
Recall that Udeze had since b3n suspended and subsequently expelled from the party by the National Think Thank Committee of the party which is the highest ruling organ of the party.
Reacting to the judgment, national chairman of the AA, Omoaje described it as a well deserved victory.
He said “this is another victory not just for me but for the party. Though it’s a long journey but we thank God for the victory which the Lord gave us ‘
