Hijrah organization loses member

The death has been announced of a prominent member of the Hijrah Organization of Nigeria, National Headquarters Ilorin, Kwara State, Alhaji Zakariyau Salihu Agarawu, who died yesterday evening (Thursday) in Ilorin.


Until his death, Alhaji Agarawu was the treasurer and a figure in the affairs of the organization and was also a member of the Kwara State Muslim Stakeholders, and many Islamic groups, where he was known for his immense contributions to the upliftment of Islam.


In a statement issued by the Secretary of the organization, Alhaji Imam Abubakar Ayinla, and released to the public, today, Friday (March 10, 2023), the organization stated that the Janaza prayer for the repose is scheduled for 10:00 am today, Friday, March 10, 2023, at Phase 1, Lane 2 Oloje Estate, opposite Ansarul-Islam Secondary School, Ilorin, and will be followed by another prayer at Agarawu Compound, Alore before moving to the Muslim Cemetery, behind Eid payingfor the interment.


The statement added that the date for the Fidau Prayer shall be announced later.
Alhaji Agarawu left behind families, children, and grandchildren.


May his soul be received by his creator and also be joined among the Shuhadah and the pious among the past, Amin.
