A lot of metabolic wastes produced in our body is passed to the blood and if left therein will poison virtually all parts of our body simultaneously, since blood flows to every corner of our body. Allah in His Mercy provided One Million filters in each of our 2 kidneys where such wastes are removed.
However, for efficient removal of the waste, about 186 litres of water is filtered with such wastes by the kidneys each day. To further demonstrate Allah’s Mercy on His creation, Allah Provided about 118km (approximate distance from Ilorin to Ibadan; or Abuja to Kaduna) of tubes packed within the kidney, to reabsorb the filtered water and other useful materials that are filtered with the waste products. In the end, only about 2 litres of water end up being removed with the waste products, from our body every 24 hours.
If Allah shows us such benevolence, is it too much to reciprocate by worshipping Him as He commanded (Q 6 v 102?)? Show kindness to other creations of Allah that are lower than you. May we continue to benefit from Allah’s abundant Mercy (Q 17 v 54).
