KWASU condoles Gov Abdulrazaq, Commissioner over death of perm sec

The Governing Council, Management, Staff and Students of Kwara State University have  commiserated with His Excellency, the Governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq; the Commissioner of Tertiary Education, Dr. Afeez Abolore Alabi and staff of the Ministry over the demise of late Hajia Sidikat Bola  Onaolapo Alaya.


The Institution equally sympathize with the State Executive Council, and the entire people of Kwara State on the loss of an illustrious, dedicated woman who was committed to the development of her state.

According to a statement signed by the KWASU Director of the University Relations, Dr. Saeedat Aliyu, and made available to newsmen in the state, late Alaya was as an excellent administrator who paid attention to details in order to ensure the smooth running of institutions under the Ministry. 


“She was a warm, accommodating, motherly figure who made interacting with the Ministry seamless.


“Hajia Alaya will be thoroughly missed as the entire University community mourns her death.
“We fervently pray that as we remember her in positive ways, Allah forgives all her sins and grants her soul repose in Jannatul Firdaus” the statement added.

The statement prayed God to grant the family, friends, loved ones and colleagues of the deceased the fortitude to bear this great loss.
