The kwara State Commissioner for Special Duties, Hon. Abosede Olaitan Buraimoh has urged the Management and Staff of the Ministry to remain dedicated and committed in discharging their responsibilities.
Buraimoh, in a statement signed by the Press Secretary of the ministry, Hassan Jibril, and made available to newsmen in Ilorin, made the call during her second meeting with the Management and Staff of the Ministry of Special Duties.
She called for mutual working relationship with the Management and Staff to showcase the initiatives and activities of the Ministry for the progress of the Ministry and the State at large.
Buraimoh urged the Staff not to be discouraged due to the challenges facing them, while encouraging them not to relent in their efforts and commitment to double their performance for the success of the State.
The Commissioner, however, assured the staff that her door is always opened to welcome new innovation and ideas that would move the Ministry forward and the State in general.
She also urged them to think outside the box and bring in new ideas, stressing that moving the Ministry forward is the collective responsibility of all and sundry.
In his remarks, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Alhaji Musa Okanlawon congratulated the Commissioner and assured of their readiness to work in harmony with her for the betterment of the Ministry and the State at large.
Alhaji Okanlawon prayed God to grant the Commissioner the wisdom to pilot the affairs of the Ministry to greater heights.
Earlier, the Director, Personnel, Finance and Supply, Pastor John Jolayemi had congratulated the Commissioner on behalf of the entire staff and welcomed her to the Ministry of Special Duties.
Pastor Jolayemi assured her of their support and willingness to work with her harmoniously.
