Bazarab foundation pays pupils school fees in kwara

The founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the popular Educational Foundation, “Bazarab Educational Foundation”, Dr (Mrs) Zainab Balogun has presented cash donations to indigent pupils in selected Primary Schools in kwara state to offset their school fees.


The payment of the school levies was initiated by Dr Balogun to assist the less privileged parents keep their children and wards in school for the attainment of sound and qualitative education right from primary education.


Presenting cash donations to beneficiaries across the selected five schools within Ilorin metropolis, Dr Balogun explained that the gesture was to contribute her quota to the progress and advancement of Nigerian society through provision of the right education to all.


Balogun maintained that the donation was in continuation of the one her foundation initiated in May this year, affirmed that, the idea was to equally support the state government in it’s bid to ensure that every child is educated.


“Today’s payment of school fees was designed to assist the less privileged parents to ensure that their children and ward’s remain in school.


“My advice to all well meaning Nigerians is to sit up and cultivate habit of being our brother’s keeper by ensuring that we spend out of our God endowed resources to impact positively on the lives of commoners in the society” Balogun advised.


According to her, rendering this kind of financial support will not only be very helpful to the less privileged children but also reduce radically cases of out of school children which will give birth to the realization of the SDG4 Goals that all children must be educated.


The selected five schools were  drawn from three local governments vis-a-vis Ilorin West, Ilorin East and  lorin South while the selected schools included  Babako Primary School Ilorin LGEA; St. William Primary School Taiwo Isale Ilorin; Pake LGEA  school, Ilorin; Ansarul Islam Primary School Oke Aluko Ilorin, and Sholagberu LGEA Primary school Ilorin.
