The Executive Secretary, Kwara State Primary Health Care Development Agency, Dr. Nusirat Elelu has called on all LGA Officers- in -Charge of Primary Health Care Delivery Services in the state to be more dedicated in discharging their duties to make the government”s efforts in rebranding the healthcare comes to fruition.
Dr Elelu urged them to be more proactive in their various facilities and put in their best in the business of providing people of the state with quality and affordable health delivery services.
According to her, “in line with the overall health agenda of the State, you are to ensure that quality services are provided at your facilities”.
She appreciated all primary health care workers across the 16 local government in the state for their relentless efforts in running the State-owned Comprehensive Health Centres.
While assuring them of the readiness of the Executive Governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq to rebrand the State Primary Health care sector and give it a face-lift, Dr Elelu said effort is targeted at making life more comfortable for the people in the state.
She therefore encouraged them to always communicate with the Agency, pledging that her doors are always opened.
Also speaking, the Director Community Health Care Services, Mrs. Janet Awotunde stressed that the Officers were carefully selected and they are to work very hard to bring their Health Facilities to limelight.
Mrs. Awotunde urged the Officers to be committed and diligent as the State will provide all the needed support to improve their productivity.
Mr. Abdullahi Mohammed, Officer-in-charge for Edu Local Government Area thanked the Executive Governor of Kwara for giving them the privilege to be part of the team in rebuilding the health sector.
He prayed for God’s guidance in governing the State Primary HealthCareAgency.
