The Vice Chancellor, Professor Muhammed Mustapha Akanbi SAN, has congratulated Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari, Professor Ibrahim Agboola Gambari on his 76th birthday.
In a statement signed by the Registrar, Mallam Mohammed Shuaib, the Vice Chancellor described Gambari, as an icon with sterling leadership qualities.
According to him the celebrant is a diplomat of high repute who has contributed his quota immensely to national development.
Akanbi, added that Gambari as the pioneer Chancellor of the University, laid solid foundation upon which the present administration is consolidating upon.
“The Kwara State University cannot but keep abreast of this special day in the life of an icon with a sterling personality like you.
“A diplomat of high repute, who is poised to provide exemplary leadership to mankind in all ramification.
“Your quality advice as the Chancellor of our University remain evergreen in our minds,” he stressed.
As a diplomat, the Vice Chancellor noted that the distinguished academic and administrator projected the image and integrity of Nigeria on the global scene.
Akanbi prayed that God grant him joy, wisdom and strength in the years ahead just as he wished him landmark achievements in his current national assignment.
