…..Advises Kwarans to comply with govt. directives
Council for Protection of Muslim Rights’, National Headquarters, Ilorin, has lauded the brilliant initiave of the Emir of Ilorin, Dr Ibrahim Sulu Gamabari for mobilizing resources to cater for the less privileged in Ilorin Emirate in the face of the lockdown occasioned by the outbreak of coronavirus pandemic.
The National Ag. President of the council, Sheikh Zulu-Qornain Sulaiman Agbarere, made the commendation in a statement issued and signed by him, saying that the Emir’s decesion to put smiles on the faces of people at this critical period of our national life was very timely, helpful and supportive.
Sheikh Agbarere said the Emir’s palliatives arrangements for indigent people of the Emirate shows clearly that the front line monarch is very sensitive to the plight of his objects across the Emirate.
The statement called on Muslim across the country to comply with government directives and health personnel instructions on Covid 19 so as to stem its further spread in the country.
While congratulating the Emir on his 80th birthday, the council described the Emir of Ilorin, who doubles as the Kwara State Chairman of traditional council of chiefs, as a forthright leader, with good leadership style.
Sheikh Agbarere appreciated the Emir for being considerate and sensitive to the welfare of people of the Emirate and it environs.
The statement called on well-to-do people in the Emirate and Nigeria as a whole to take a cue from the Emir’s kind gesture of mobilizing resources for the less privileged so as to collectively mitigate the effect of the coronavirus in the state.
The Council however congratulated the Executive Governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman Abdulrazaq, the Emir of Ilorin, and entire Muslim faithfuls on the commencement of this year 1441AH Ramadan fast, and prayed God to make it a rewarding spritual exercise to all Muslim faithfuls.
