4th year remembrance: Chief Imams, Kasandubu others pray for late Hamdalat Aremu

Hajia Hamdalat Abiodun Aremu, the late wife of Comrade Issa Obalowu Aremu has been described as a decent and God fearing house wife who stood solidly behind her husband and that of his kinship.

Shaykh Sulaiman Sidiq Kasandubu, disclosed this on Sunday December 15, 2019) during the 4th year remembrance prayer of the late Hamdalat held at her husband’s resdidence, off Fate road, G. R. A. Ilorin, the Kwara state capital.

The cleric also called on couple in Nigeria to live together with sense of sincerity and honesty and not allow the third party to penetrate their affairs so as to have a peaceful, united and harmonious married life.

He explained that late Hamdalat loved every family member of her husband and showed them reall love and affection, saying that her demise remains a rude shock to all and sundry.

He prayed God to be pleased with her and grant her Aljanatul-l-Firdaus and also grant everyone she left behind the fortitude to bear the loss.

Shaykh Kasandubu therefore admonished every housewife to take a cue from late Hamdalat’s exemplary character , adding  that she was  very submissive to her husband.

Also speaking at the special prayer session, the Chief Imam of Ogbomoso, Shaykh Alama-L-Yaqeen Ashafa described the husband of late Hajia Hamdalat, Comrade Issa Aremu, as an upright man and  lover of every citizenry especially in his frantic struggle for the rights of Nigerian workers.

He prayed God to lead Comrade Aremu through in all his endeavours and grant him the accomplishment of all his wishes and aspirations for the better living of all Nigerians.

The Chief Imam of Ijagbo, Shaykh Muhammad Jamiu, who also registered his presence at the well seated prayer session, described late Hamdalat as a role model to every woman who wishes to live happily with her spouse and also have the privilege of meeting her creator with peace on the Day of resurrection.

In his comment, Comrade Aremu thanked everyone in attendance for honouring his family with their presence.

While describing the demise of her late wife as sudden and socking, the former Governorship candidate on the platform Labour Party during the last general election in Kwara state, thanked God for standing by the family and for giving them happiness after sorrow.

In his vote of thanks, the eldest son of late Hamdalat, Habeeb Aremu thanked the religious leaders, family and friends including the admirers of the family for their attendance, saying that their presence was highly appreciated.
