The Deputy Chief Imam of the University of Ilorin, Professor Shehu Ahmad Abdulsalam has adminished Muslims faithful to obey Allah and follow the footsteps of Prophet Muhammed in order for them to be rewarded as sincere and pious Muslims.
Professor Abdulsalam gave the admonition on Friday (November 8, 2019) during the Jumaat sermon held at the University of Ilorin Central Mosque.
The Deputy Chief Imam urged Muslim Ummah to continue to recognise the essence and messages of Prophet Muhammed so as to guarantee their followership and be admitted in paradise.
He said following the saying, deeds and silent approval of Prophet Muhammed is the best way of being a true Muslim.
He said it is very disheartening now a days as some people follow their self appointed religious leaders blindly at the expense of the textual evidence in the Glorious Qurian and the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammed.
