The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State has pledged its unalloyed support to the policies and programmes of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of the state.
Rising from its general meeting held at Idofian Town Hall of the local government area, the party urged Governor AbdulRazaq and his Deputy, Mr Kayode Alabi, to continue their good work and services to the people.
A communique issued at the end of the meeting and signed by the APC Publicity Secretary in the area, J.J. Ojumokan, passed a vote of confidence in the leadership of the state Chairman of the party, Hon Bashir Omolaja Bolarinwa.
The party also pledged support for Alhaji Mohammed Shilo Awobimpe-led Ifelodun local government APC executive.
The communique indicated that notable leaders and members of the party across the 18 Wards in the local government area attended the meeting.
“We pledged our support to the Executive Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and his deputy, Mr Kayode Alabi, to continue the good work and services to the people of Kwara State and that the people of Ifelodun are solidly behind the administration of the governor and the deputy.
“We also resolved at the meeting that the executive under the leadership of Alhaji Mohammed Shilo Awobimpe remains the authentic and recognized executive of the party in the Local government area.
“Equally, we pledged our support to the leadership of the State party chairman, Hon Bashir Omolaja Bolarinwa (BOB), with a resounding voice vote of confidence”, the communique read.
