The Yaman Peace Frontier (YPF), today organised a special prayer for the reign of peace in Kwara state and for God’s guidance for President Muhammadu Buhari and
Governorship aspirant on the platform of All Progressive Congress (APC) in Kwara state, Alhaji Shuaib Yaman Abdullahi.
The YPF made this known in Ilorin today (June 8, 2018) the official inauguration of Yaman Peace Frontier cum special prayer held at Fate area, Ilorin, the kwara state capital.
In his address shortly before the commencement of the prayer, the convener of the group, Olawale James Gbadeyan described Yaman Abdullahi as a peace loving and progressive minded figure, saying that peace is sacroscant for development.
He said peace is the only potent ingredient Nigeria needs at this trial period for sustainable development, adding that there can never be meaningful progress in a rancourous and chaotic environment.
He said the candidacy of Alhaji Shuaib Yaman Abdullahi as the governorship aspirant come 2019 general elections is a clarion call by peace loving kwarans who want him to come and use his wealth of experience to move Kwara to an enviable standard.
Gbadeyan described Abdullahi as an illustrious kwaran who has deep interest for growth, development and peaceful co-existence of Kwara and Nigeria as a whole.
” This project will run in the name of a kwaran whose love for the state is super. His determination to lift her socio-economic and political status is equally unrivaled. That humble and diligent man is Alhaji Shuaib Yaman Abdullahi” he said.
He said the group is aimed at opening a campaign /advicacy that will permeate to the grassroots on the need for the people of the state to be security conscious and be alert at all times.
He described Abdullahi as a rare man with good leadership quality, saying that Kwara will witness tremendous development if he assumes the leadership role of the state as the Executive Governor of Kwara State.
Leading the prayer session shortly after the inauguration, Sheikh Abdulsalam Bamidele Abubakar prayed God to shower His peace and blessings on Kwara just as he offered prayer for the elevation of Alhaji Shuaib Yaman Abdullahi as the next Governor of Kwara State.
The event was graced by some eminent personalities in the state including former local government chairmen, former commissioner, former commissioner I in the state Teaching Service Commission among other dignitaries.
